Raising Respect: Generational Change

We have a unique opportunity to change the world, one generation at a time, by raising our
children differently. Respect isn’t something to be demanded; it’s something to be modeled.
What if we taught our children to honor themselves and others just as naturally as we teach
them to read and write? Imagine what the world could look like if each child was raised with the
understanding that their voice matters, that kindness is non-negotiable, and that every person is
worthy of respect. Respect isn’t about fear—it’s about understanding, compassion, and seeing
the value in everyone. It starts with us, showing up as the role models our kids need. We get to
raise a generation that knows their worth and respects the worth of others. And with that, maybe
we really can change the world in just one generation.
